We are currently a family of 6, 4kids (11yo Blake, 8yo Amelia, our 1 yo foster daughter and 7week old foster son). Shawn is a producer of a morning news show and Jess is a social worker. We are a busy family, just like everyone else, with jobs and school and after school sports and activities. This blog will follow our family over 2011 and our efforts to make some big changes. We hope you enjoy reading about the real struggles of breaking old habits and the inevitable humor of letting others see our mess in all of its glory.
