My "Impossible" Pantry

the space between

I started 2012 planning to clean out and organize my pantry. Yesterday, I was invited to join the "Imagine the Impossibilities Challenge" and have decided I am no longer just going to make my pantry look better than it does now and function better than it does now, I'm going to create the pantry in my head. Now, many crafty, artsy and super creative bloggers do this all the time. I am not one of those people. I don't think I can adequately describe just how stagnant I am when it comes to home projects. And I use the term "project" loosely. I mean, it takes months to replace a burned out light bulb. It's bad people, really bad. So, this truly is the "impossible" challenge for me. But I'm all in!

So, here is my pantry now:

I have pictures in my head of a perfect pantry (you know, within the space I have currently) and have thought many times about how my pantry will look "someday". It will be clean and organized and very functional like this:

With lots of cute labeled baskets and canisters like this:

Maybe include some really fun colors, some lighting (there is currently no light) and definitely replace those ugly accordian doors!

Include a place for my family calendar like this (which can be done when I get rid of the ugly accordian doors):

And be just plain beautiful like this:

So, 2012 is officially "someday" for my pantry. I'm excited to share the results!

Join in the fun with us and do your impossible too!
